Hi, what's up guys.
Today I was doing my Thesis on animation and it was really horrible as I'm stucked at some points.
So I decided to take a break and looking for an entertainment.
I found this video on 9Gag.tv about two guys playing YOYO.
What I like about this video is that I was able to chill and relax for a moment before I continue my Thesis report. ( I found myself a new song! )
Here's the video:
Here is some funny Japanese animation!
*Saint Young Men*
*A Japanese Animation about Jesus and Buddha. ( Interesting! )
Okay that's it. Now I have to go back doing my thesis report because if not, i'm a dead man then.
Hi what's up guys?
Recently, I found out a website specifically to promote and show short Asian indie movies/films.
It is called Viddsee!
So, Viddsee features a lot of videos from drama to animation to documentary and more.
When I first found the website, I jump straight to picking 'horror' tag and guess what, I found a short horror video which has similar storyline of a manga called 'Lovesick Dead' or in malay it is called 'Cinta Puaka Simpang Empat' illustrated by my favorite manga artist Junji Ito! ( For the malay comic, you can get it from Gempak )
The video is called Cross Junction (十字街角). It is a Hong Kong movie and the language speaking were cantonese. The story is about a kid that upset a woman who was playing an intersection fortune telling which then later cause her to commit suicide. Overall the short video is quite good but not so scary though. However, I really like the live action version of Junji Ito's story and the filter used in the video as it brings nostalgic moments of watching old school cantonese drama which I used to watch back in the 90's.
We will be having our Animation's Exhibition on the 30th and 31st of December this year.
Everybody is welcome and please do come and enjoy our animation and more activities such as live drawing and dance show!
So, I have been designing my business card for the exhibition. At first I wanted to add local stuff into my business card. What I mean is that I wanted to add Borneo related design on my business card and here is the first design:
A Machete-like Parang!
And after I watched Star Wars, I started to doodle some Strom Troopers and came out with a idea of changing a Strom Trooper into a Borneo Trooper! Haha
Then I was like, 'okay this is it, Borneo Trooper it is!!' (You can check out my previous post for the Borneo Trooper design HERE )
Here is the complete design:

I had fun drawing and designing for my business card. So once again, I welcome and invited you all to come to our Animation's Exhibition at 30th and 31st December! See you there!
Today I got to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens with my sister at KLCCwhile celebrating Christmas. Merry Christmas guys!
The force is strong with Finn!!
I'm not really a hardcore Star Wars fan so the excitement is so so for me. The movie was okay.
The storyline was good and the graphic is awesome. I love J.J Abrams because he was also the director of TV Series called 'The Lost' which I just finished few days ago.
The only thing that did not impress me is that 'Captain Phasam' had only few scene in the movie itself. Okay, I love the costume, the concept and the style ( Plus she is a female! Sexy voice though ) but she got captured quickly and without knowingly she had to do what the resistance ask her to which were Han and his group of people. I was expecting something awesome with Captain Phasma but nothing happened. Maybe I'll wait for the next Star Wars movie then.
So I got back home, bored and decided to draw Stromtroopers, Borneo Edition!
Here is it! :
"He is one of my favorite trooper, and Luke did this to him!", Darth Vader mumbling to himself at the corner of the room like a cry baby.
Again, Merry Christmas guys! Have fun!
CEKIDAUT!!
CHEERS~
I am a big fans of Berserk! Berserk is a manga originally made by 'Kentarou Miura'. The previous animation was done back in 1997. Despite being an old school animation, the art and animation of Berserk was marvelous and well made. The story is about a guy named Guts whom is a mercenary which encountered a twisted fate after he met Griffith, a powerful leader of a group of soldiers which they called 'Band of Hawk'.
Berserk is going to get a new anime adaptation featuring Guts as the 'The Black Swordsman'.
2) D-Gray Man
Katsuhiro Hoshino's manga, D-Gray Man, will get new anime adaptation and slated in 2016! D-Gray Man will also be receiving new cast than the previous 2005 anime. I'm so excited for this as I admire and love Katsuhiro Hoshino's drawing style and the manga as well! haha!
After the end of Naruto's Manga, I founded and followed this new manga called Boku No Hero Academia because...... Naruto tells me to.... LOL! Boku No Hero Academia was written and illustrated by 'Kouhei Horikoshi'. The series received good responses and sold over 200,000 copies in 4 months in a short period. The 2nd issue of Shuiesha Weekly Shonen Jump magazines ( Best selling manga magazine in Japan ), announced in November 2nd that the manga will receive an anime adaptation in 2016!

5) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, restart!
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of my 'One-Punch Man' action series anime! A new teaser website for Gainax, Aniplex and Konami has launched a new title 'Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, restart!' However, it is still unclear whether the anime is going to get a reboot or renewal. Well as long as this anime is going to be produce, I will be waiting and I'm in for it! Let's hope that the website deliver us some good news and I really hope that it gets to aired in 2016!
I am a huge fan of Naruto and today I am very happy as my friend told me that Naruto's alternate manga entitled Boruto will be continued and produced in spring 2016! By the way, the new Boruto manga series will illustrated by Kishimoto Masashi's previous assistant, Mikio Ikemoto, and I respected Masashi's decision because he is Kishimoto Masashi, my idol my everything. LOL
For those who does not know what 'Naruto' is, Naruto is a manga originally created and illustrated by Kishimoto Masashi back in 1999. The manga has been sold 130 millions copy in Japan alone and has an adaptation of television anime series. Andddddd, if you had not yet read the manga, you should by now because Naruto will give you life!! LOL
Hideo Kojima is the director, producer, screenwriter and also producer for video games such as Castlevania, Boktai and one of his famous work is the Metal Gear series. Kojima has contributed a lot of work to 'Konami'. (Konami is very well known for its video games such as Castlevania, Contra, Pro-Evolution Soccer, Yu-Gi Oh and more)
Recently, Hideo Kojima left 'Konami' and decided form up a new studio to team up with 'Sony Computer Entertainment'. I am so excited and cannot wait to see what Hideo Kojima will bring and deliver us this time as he, himself are very determined to excel well in the new 'relationship' with Sony itself. GOGO KOJIMA!!!
